If you recall this post, Kensington is absolutely obsessed with Dancing With The Stars. She gets so excited when it comes on and sits really still absorbing it all. On Monday night, she hopped up on our bed, tucked herself in and said "I am so cozy Mommy". She took in every minute.

It was a zoo out there!
Posted on 17:59 by Unknown
Wow! What a super fun weekend!! (And we still have one day to go!)
My one and only picture from Friday night. The 4 of us went to dinner and then went to Willow Bend Mall for the kids to run around in the play area.
Today, we headed off to the Fort Worth Zoo. Super happy girl in the back seat!
Here's the thing, I think there were approximately 1,456,782 people at the zoo today (my estimation). In my almost 30 years of visiting the Fort Worth Zoo, I have NEVER seen it so crowded. My mom kept insisting that there must be some fabulous promotion that day (like buy one ticket, get one free) to prompt the masses to the park. Nope. Just a Spring Break Saturday. It was C-R-A-Z-Y crowded in the parking lot, but once we got inside, it was actually quite pleasant.

We let Smith read the map and navigate :)
Sweet girl peering into the chicken coupe
Thoroughly enjoying her ice cream.
Kensington picked a pink penguin as her souvenir and Smith picked (or K picked for him) a baby tiger.
We changed the kids (and my dad) out of their zoo clothes and headed to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Don't these boys have the best taste in apparel? (FYI: 13 days until Opening Day!)
This is what happened during our 4 minute wait for a table.
So, we carried her to the table and this is her asleep on Lovie's leg under the table. She slept the entire time we ate (and Smith ate both of their chicken nuggets :)).
Happy Saturday!

Happy Anniversary Baby!
Posted on 11:38 by Unknown
Today is our 7th anniversary :). I guess I need to mention that before I post other random pictures from yesterday. Happy Anniversary baby! I love you!
Yesterday, while out shopping and enjoying the gorgeous weather, Andrew and I both went into a store where we wanted to look around. What do good parents do that want to shop with their one and two year olds? They give the two year the rest of Mommy's Starbucks and the one year the rest of Daddy's potato chips. Problem solved. What good parents Andrew and I are :).
In this picture, I said "hey guys, say 'cheese'". Well, Kensington said it and Smith turned around with this look like, "what, we have cheese?". I need to have them say a word that doesn't make him hopeful for a snack.
These suspenders were Sean's when he was little. My parents got them out and tried them on Smith. (Side note: my mom probably kept two things of mine as a child and two things of Sean's. We're not "savers" to say the least, so these suspenders must be very important). They were too big on little Smith but he looked super cute!
My mom had to cross them in front to fit.
Smith fell asleep while eating dinner. Little man was tuckered out!
Andrew leaned the highchair back and we let him sleep. Sweet boy.
