On Father's Day night, we headed to our local pool to swim and eat poolside. Poor Tab and Erika were moving all weekend, so we took their two oldest kids with us to free them up to move a little faster. The girls (and Andrew!) had the best time jumping off the diving board. That's Kensington jumping :).
And Ebby Lee jumped all night too!
And Andrew looooooves a diving board! He waited his turn in line with all of the other kids :).

We all ate dinner and then had ice cream bars!

And then they all had races.
Look at the girls racing! So fun!
We had so much fun eating outside and swimming! The best way to spend Father's Day any day.

We had such a fun Memorial Day weekend...and I forgot to take a lot of pictures! I just hate when that happens. It usually happens because we're having so much fun that I'm not thinking about documenting it. Here's a recap...
1. On Friday, the 4 Shulls headed out for Mexican food (because that just makes sense on a Friday night), and then we went and bought the kids their first tennis rackets (because they're going to start tennis lessons this summer...we'll see how that goes...). It was a fun and relaxing Friday night.
2. On Saturday, my parents came over and we furniture shopped for the new house. Then we had breakfast for dinner...which is my favorite thing to do!
3. On Sunday after church, we headed to my parents' annual Memorial Day party. I should have taken a gazillion photos (because it was so much fun!) but I totally forgot until I saw this at dinner...
...Smith sound asleep at the table. I grabbed my camera and took a few photos.
A few years ago, we started a tradition where the Slaughter family joins us each year. We always have so much fun! Kensington and Ebby Lee swam their little hearts out!
Nixon was a jumping and swimming fool too!

Paisley and me (she's not technically my niece...her dad is my cousin, but I call her one. I love this girl!)
Smith woke up from the table...ate a few chips and then fell asleep again... but this time, on Papa Jay. He swam hard and was exhausted!
On Monday, we tried swimming again but it was really overcast and kind of cool. The kids napped during the day and we grilled steaks for dinner. This week, we have swim lessons every day and are soaking up our first official week of summer.

Before I start today, I have to say a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sweet friend Sheaffer over at Pinterest Told Me To! She is a year older now...which makes her soooooo much older than me ;). Happy Birthday Sheaffer Sims! I love you and I can't wait to celebrate with you at lunch today! XOXO

Day 91: Opening Day! I have waited six long months for baseball season to start again. I was soooooo excited to wear my Red Sox gear to the gym that morning. And by the way...we beat the Yankees on Opening Day...8 to 2. My hubby is still sad. House Divided.

I am thankful for so many things...but none more than Jesus Christ. On this day, we celebrate the fact that death on the cross couldn't hold him back. Jesus rose again three days later. He is alive, he is our savior, he is my everything.

Over at the Shull house...we like to party! (Not really. We like to eat early, put on our pjs, watch Real Housewives and go to bed at 10:00.)
This New Years Eve was no exception. We ate dinner at 5:30 with two other families (yes...we spent NYE with 8 children) and then we went home to put on our jammies, watch some TV and go to bed. (Hey, it was midnight somewhere in the world!)
Five of the said kids huddled around an i-Pad. We came loaded with things to distract the kiddos and keep them happy and entertained (we were after all, out numbered!).

Then on New Years Day, we went to my parents' house to celebrate my Grandmother's birthday (she's a New Years baby!). The whole family was there all day celebrating but I only managed to take two measly pictures of Smith and Grandmother coloring.
