Swimsuit model

Posted on 04:07 by Unknown
I really think my daughter has a future as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model

What?!  Don't you?  My sweet friend Andrea snapped these pictures while we were at the pool the other night.  Kensington loves swimming in her goggles even though they make her look super silly :).

Kensington and Luke...she LOVES her some Luke!

This is them last summer.  How time flies!

Luke is famous for his big hugs...like really famous...and Kensington loves to receive them.

Our attempt at getting a picture of Kensington, Jaxson and Luke

Future runner?

Posted on 09:09 by Unknown
I just found Kensington in the play room wearing my sports bra and running tank...a future marathon runner like her mama????

I am most impressed with the accuracy of how she put the sports bra on.  She's a mess!

Water babies

Posted on 04:57 by Unknown
On July 4, we headed to my Aunt and Uncle's house for dinner and swimming.
The Groom and Bride-to-be with Paisley Marie :)

We cannot keep our kiddos out of the water!  They have no fear.

And we couldn't keep Smith out of Paisley's exersaucer.  Seriously kid...you didn't enjoy it when it was age appropriate, why now?

The arm floaties have been super helpful.  I really feel like they've made her actual swimming so much stronger.  When she takes them off, she's more coordinated and a better swimmer.

Paisley Marie looks like her mama Casey Marie in this picture.  Beautiful little girl!  I could just kiss her face off!

 Me, Case, and my mama

I didn't take these pictures but apparently, Smith wandered over to my Uncle Bryan asking for a drink.  Bryan gave him his very own bottle of water.  Smith was soooo proud to be drinking like everyone else.

She jumped off the side of the pool to me at least 2 dozen times!

Me and my girls...Kensington and Brooke.  I've been "mothering" Brooke since the day she was born.  She told me the other day that I felt more like an extra "mini-mom" than a big cousin.  That happens when a bossy 7 year old gets her hands on a brand new baby girl cousin.  I've been brainwashing loving her since day one.

Smith and Papa Jay (and Austin way in the background)

Andrew and Kensington would get a running start and then jump into the pool

This is what happens after a super fun evening of swimming.

Fall in Love

Posted on 17:58 by Unknown
Last Tuesday, June 28, Smith and I ran to Hobby Lobby to pick up a few things.  We were both soooooo thrilled to see the fall decor out!!  Yay!!  After June, I'm so over summer.  Over it.  Right now, I'm just surviving until September 1.  We browsed the many pumpkins and pretended it was cool and crisp outside (as opposed to the 101 degree day we were having).

And then...we discovered the Christmas aisles!!  Praise you Hobby Lobby for putting Christmas decorations out 6 months early.  Some of us just lovvvvvvvvvve to see the Christmas decor and pretend the holiday is right around the corner!

Merry Christmas Happy July,

2 Houston 4 Boston

Posted on 07:02 by Unknown
Yesterday, was a super fun, very special day for me.  My sweet hubby stayed at home with the kiddos so that I could go to Houston and see the Red Sox play the Astros.  And to top it off, my mom came too :).  (My mom isn't really a baseball fan but she is a fan of shopping...which we did beforehand).  We left Dallas at 8:45 and drove to Huntsville for lunch at a really cute cafe.
 My dad and me :)

Then, we arrived in Houston around 1:30 for some shopping and cupcakes!  This is Crave Bakery where they have THE BEST cupcakes.  I was in sugar heaven!

Can we say yum?  German chocolate cupcakes!

 Mom and I at Crave

After several hours of shopping, we headed over to see the Sox play.  I was super excited about our game but got even more excited when I realized the baseball stadium was indoors!!!!  I was totally willing to sit out in the Houston heat on July 1 but to be in the A/C...how cool is that?! :)

My dad and I before the game.  I just love my dad...and I really love my Red Sox!

I got back home at 3:00 AM.  Thank you Mom and Dad for such a fun day!  And thank you Andrew for being the best dad and husband ever!  I love you all!

And thank you Red Sox for winning :).  That was the best part!
