On Saturday night, we celebrated my dad's birthday.  Our family is so blessed to have these three kiddos.  Kensington and Smith love their cousin Paisley!!  They're 3, 2, and 1 year old :).

Freckleface Strawberry

We've had a super adventurous day today!  We were at the gym early (at 8:15) and afterwards, we headed to the local library.  

Kensington checked out two Freckleface Strawberry books. 

She was lovin' the library and the book reading!

And sweet Smith liked the library too :).  We've had a fun Wednesday, hope you have too!

Shull Family North

Over the weekend, the Shull Family North (a.k.a. Andrew's brother's family from Missouri) came down to spend the weekend with us.  We always get super excited to see our cousins!!

On Friday night, we went and had Mexican food at one of our favorite spots.  This is Smith shoving chips and salsa in his mouth at rapid speed.  Andrew (with a very serious and concerned look on his face) asked me if I had remembered to feed Smith that day.  YES!  The boy just likes chips and salsa!  He wasn't starving.

A true Texan, Kensington also enjoys her chips and salsa and she looooooooves sitting next to her big cousin Brode!

After dinner, while we were waiting on the check, Andrew started showing the kids pictures on his phone.  Look at all three of them...it's like he's Santa or something!

Friday night, they came back to our house to hang out and eat dessert.  Have I mentioned yet how much K loves her cousin B?!

Saturday was my favorite day.  We started with brunch at Spoons in downtown McKinney.  Here are these cuties on the courthouse steps.  After this, the dads took all 4 kids to the park and Sonic while Gretchen and I had girl time. 

Girl time totally consisted of pedicures!  We also shopped and shopped and stopped at Starbucks.  Love this girl!

Welcome Wagon

When playing in the back yard, my kids rarely pay attention to the golfers a mere 15 feet away.  Honestly, I don't even think they realize they're out there most days.  Today, however, was different.  They were the Welcome Wagon.  Every single golfer that passed by, got a wave, a hello and two huge grins.  It was your typical Friday morning Welcome Wagon.

My apologies to the men playing golf on the 12th hole this morning.  I know it's hard to focus on your swing with two toddlers screaming hello.  :)

My favorite little past time is reading magazines.  I have 15 subscriptions.  Please don't make me list them all...it's embarrassing :).  Nothing makes me happier then spending a minute or two reading one of my magazines.  Last night, I walked by Kensington in the family room and found this...

 ...just sitting in the chair browsing her American Girl Doll magazine.
