The Amazing Race

Posted on 12:18 by Unknown
I know I've mentioned this before but my dad is...um...well...different.  He holds Guinness World Records, travels the world (sometimes on camel) sharing Jesus, chases hurricanes for kicks and has lived a life that could only be described as extraordinary.

Several years ago, he auditioned for Survivor and of course, CBS ate him up.  They loved him.  They have considered him for 3 seasons but just can't seem to place him there on the right season.  This past summer, they contacted him again (they keep calling him) about being on The Amazing Race instead.  They sent him over the contract and said he was their man.  There was just one problem...they needed him to come with my mom.  My mom...God love her...has enough common sense to know that she does not want to be on a reality show.  Period.  So, she said no, my dad told CBS no and they said, maybe next season.

So, here we are.  It's next season...and of course my dad wants to be on the show.  This time though, he found himself a new partner.  Click here to see the audition video.  Who knows if they'll have a spot for my dad this season or not?  Regardless, my dad sure knows how to put together a good audition video :).

Stay tuned...I'll let you know.
