We spent day four at sea sailing to our next port. It was lovely. We slept in, Andrew and I each worked out, and we stayed in our pjs most of the day.
Smith still in his pjs at breakfast in the restaurant.
Kensington couldn't stand sitting in her chair. She wanted to be at the glass watching the ship sail. That's her tucked up next to her chair.
After breakfast, we headed out for a family walk in the chilly air.
We stopped at the basketball courts and played for a bit. (Yet another advantage of sailing with the older crowd...just us 4 on the basketball courts). It was so cool to run around with my family and play games as we sailed across the Baltic Sea.
Smith loved him some basketball!
We went up to the kids' area to play with puzzles and read books. It was really nice for the ship to offer this to the kids on board. They had Legos, coloring books, tents and tunnels...my kids had a blast!
Andrew and Kensington went back to the pool while Smith and I stayed in our cabin, ordered room service for lunch and then he napped for 3 hours while I read magazines. Soooooo nice!
Waiting for dinner...they LOVED watching the ship cruise on!
We all ate dinner in the Italian restaurant. The girls at one table (4 generations of Higginbotham girls) and the boys at another.
I know this picture is dark but it was so cute. After dinner, we went to one of the shows for the evening. My kids lost interest about halfway through, so Andrew and I took them over to the karaoke bar (that was empty of adults because karaoke hadn't begun) and they ran around under the lights dancing to the music for the longest time. I think it was the best part of their day.
What a wonderful day at sea! Next port, Estonia...very cool!
