Hello! Hello! Who was I kidding...there was no way I could recap two episodes in one post...I tried but it was too much! Today, episode 5, tomorrow...episode 6. Twice in one week. There will be Q&A in both posts...and no, I am still not able answer any questions regarding the outcome of the show, who my favorite girl is, or who I think should be the next Bachelorette...so don't even bother asking :).
Monday night, the kiddos stayed up, we popped popcorn, and questioned many of Uncle Seanie's decisions. (Even though I know what I know...I still get irritated when I watch it play out...even my dad called on Monday night and said, "why did he give Tierra the rose???") In the past, when I was irritated with the Bachelor, I just griped at the TV...this season, I actually pick up the phone, dial the Bachelor's phone number and gripe directly to him. Life is good. ;)
Ok...let's recap quickly and then I'll answer some questions...
Loved the Whitefish Montana date with Lindsay. I am ready to pack up and move to that cute little town ASAP! Such a fun date and a really great little town!
Ahh...the battle of the Red Team verses the Blue Team. Let's just say that I would have quit the show and not looked back the minute they asked me to drink fresh goat's milk. I was so grossed out by that, that I'm skipping milk in my latte this morning.
Despite the unhappy comments from some of the girls, I did think it was sweet for Sean to ask the Blue Team to join them later that night. He's there to meet Miss Right...he has to get to know all of them to accomplish that!
Hmmm...I likey some Chris Harrison. That is no secret around here. I particularly liked him with a little scruff. I'm just sayin'...a man with a little scruff is pretty hot.
And then...
It was Jackie verses...
...Tierra.
I'm not going to lie...watching Tierra's behind the scene interviews intimidated me! I'm pretty sure if she wanted to convince Sean she was his sister instead of me, she could! This girl is gorgeous, smart and extremely good at playing games. Poor Jackie didn't stand much of a chance...the bigger personality always wins on these two on one dates...and Tierra definitely had the bigger personality.
Some Q&A...
1. Do the producers have any say in who Sean keeps and who he sends home?
No. Sean makes all of those decisions. I know what you're asking...did they make him keep Tierra for ratings and stuff. The answer is no...think about it...that girl was really convincing when she was talking to Sean. How would he know how she was acting away from him? He wouldn't!
2. How would I react to my kids growing up and being either the Bachelor or Bachelorette?
I would be thrilled for them! This has proven to be a very positive experience for our family. The producers and people working with the Bachelor have been phenomenal. This has been very positive for Sean, so I would be ok with it for my kiddos too.
3. What does Sean think of Kensington's comments (via me tweeting them)?
He thinks his niece is a lot like his sister and mother...OPINIONATED! And he loves all three of us for that :). He also thinks she's hysterical.
4. Do I think Sean is too nice and keeps girls when he should let them go?
I think Sean is really thoughtful with his decisions. He wants to make choices based on info he has seen first-hand. Sean is pretty no nonsense...he doesn't like drama and high maintenance girls...he's being careful with his decisions but cutting girls right and left at the same time. He's not being too nice, he's being discerning.
5. What is Sean's reaction watching Tierra back now?
He's said in several interviews and on Twitter that obviously he had no idea about how she was acting and what she was saying when she wasn't with him. He's seeing a side of her he didn't see on the show.
6. Have Sean's girlfriends in the past been dramatic or high-maintenance?
No! He has always dated the easiest going, most laid back girls around. I know several of them were Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (which might make you think they would be high-maintenance) but absolutely not! They were super low-key and easy to be around.
7. What did Sean do when he was in-between dates and not filming during the taping of the show?
He slept! According to him, he was almost always doing something...working long, long days. During his down time, I know he read a few books and slept. His days started early and ended late. It's a lot of work filming a TV show!
8. Does Sean pick who goes on which dates?
From what I understand, yes. That's what I've been told.
9. When are the "In the Moment Interviews" (those individual interviews when the contestants are talking to the camera) filmed?
They're filmed throughout the day. The producers do a great job of pulling girls aside and interviewing them.
10. Why isn't Sean talking about his faith as much as he did during the Bachelorette?
He is, you just don't see it. I think Sean's faith was well established during the Bachelorette but a lot of other aspects of his life were not, so yes, he shared his faith openly with each and every girl but how boring would that be to watch each week?! The producers need to show all sides of Sean and since they did an awesome job of showing his spiritual side last season, this season they are showing other dimensions of him. That doesn't mean he wasn't sharing his faith, it just means we haven't seen that footage.
More questions answered tomorrow!
And you know my brain was thinking of food the whole I time I watched the Montana episode...
I was thinking all things s'mores! Watching Sean and the girls in Montana made me want to roast some marshmallows and sit by a camp fire. Or...you could just make one of my delicious s'more desserts instead...
**Don't forget, for my favorite recap of the show, don't forget to check out A Bachelorette Told Me To over at my girl Sheaffer's blog. You'll be so glad you stopped by!**
Episode 6 recap tomorrow morning along with more Q&A! Have an awesome day!
